The new MSI keeps the same familiar shortcuts and keystroke patterns but adds sought-after capabilities and adopts a modernized user interface, requiring minimal training for existing users. The underlying workflow of the processes will not change, users will go through the same steps and functions in the software that they do today and, while all of the screens will be redesigned, the same information that users are accustomed to seeing will still be displayed.

Yes, there are implemenation and installation costs to upgrading from a previous version of MSI. Please note that Hosting also incurs additional annual costs and is optional.

Yes, there are some hardware and internet requirements for the new version. For an On-Premise solution, the requirements include: Microsoft Windows 10, 2.5 GHz Dual-Core Processor Recommended, Minimum of 16 GB of Ram Recommended, 100 GB Hard Drive Space Minimum. Server requirements are: Microsoft Windows Server 2016+, Minimum of 32 GB of Ram, 3 GHz, 1 TB recommended. With regards to internet requirements, DSL is recommended through a reliable high speed internet provider, however any stable WiFi connection will work.

Upgrading to the new version of MSI will consist of installing and configuring the components associated with the new version. Installation of these components will be done remotely, and clients will have the option of having training performed on-site or remotely, should they wish to have a refresher course on processes. When upgrading with the Hosted solution, all implementation is done remotely and is a non-disruptive process. Prior to going live on the new version, we will provide you with a work-flow check list to ensure all processes are operating as they should.

The same MSI staff who support you today will continue to support you on the new version of MSI. Our Support group has been actively involved in our updated MSI project since its initial inception.

While we will continue to support our customers on older versions, we strongly recommend all of our MSI customers upgrade to MSI 10 as soon as possible. Note that our development and enhancement efforts will be focused on MSI 10 alone.
